POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under supervision, design plant systems for a variety of oil, gas, and chemical applications, including chemical and refinery plant operations and processes. Will prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Evaluate, select, and apply engineering standards, procedures and criteria for design of pumps other plant specialty equipment. Evaluate piping specifications and perform pipe sizing and hydraulic calculations. Specifically: prepare engineering calculations, and develop specification of process and utility systems; perform hydraulics calculations and line sizing, PSV sizing, flare and relief system design, pump and compressor equipment hydraulic analysis and piping design; and provide support to engineering team. Experience in related area: Experience in chemical, petrochemical and refineries. Ability to travel to jobsite as required. Minimum 5 years experience in Systems Engineering.
