Job descriptionPurpose:
To organise, manage and be responsible for the development of offshore commissioning planning and scheduling activities. To prepare and maintain the Commissioning Schedules. To collate and provide status reports. To develop associated plans and schedules for controlling Vendors and Execution Contractors scopes of work relating to Commissioning activities.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• To provide full planning, work management and analysis of the Kashagan Project Offshore Commissioning activities, verifying the activities performed by Contractors, sub-contractors, and all the other entities involved in the Offshore content of the Kashagan Project.
• To ensure plans are tracked and reported. Highlighting and offering solutions to problems.
• Be pro-active in all matters relating to Planning and Risk Analysis.
• Maintain all plans in readiness for monthly reporting.
• Ensure that all interfaces are identified, agreed and reviewed on a weekly basis.
• Ensure that all short term critical tasks are reviewed on a weekly basis.
• Maintain the relevant CTR catalogue and assist in the development of the Work Plan & Budget.
• Maintain close liaison with the Lead Planning Engineer and members of the Commissioning Services team.
RequirementsQualifications & Experience:
• Engineering HND (or equivalent), minimum 5 years experience in oil and gas and at least 10 years in planning.
• Experience in interfacing with other Contractors planning organisations.
• Experience in Onshore and Offshore Petrochemical Projects in Europe for at least 5 years.
• Experience in working directly or indirectly for a major oil company.
• Experience in preparing and executing control procedures for planning.
• Experience in Project commissioning and start-up sequence and logic planning.
