Job descriptionScope of Responsibilities:
- Leads and supervises a team of Rigging Supervisors, riggers in the implementation of the rigging plan as per project requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the study of rigging requirements and prepare the rigging plan before starting the rigging job and define specifications.
- Prepare Method Statements and document it for endorsement and a sign off by the client.
- Ensure that all equipments required for the rigging activity are in line with Method Statement and are certified as per the specifications as have been agreed with the client.
- Coordinate with procurement team for proper materials for example tackles,slings, ropes, chains, shackles etc. which are needed for the rigging activity are available.
- Conduct the instrument capacity analysis on a daily basis to complete activities as per the rigging plan and the Method Statement.
- Ensure that proper steel pad installation for rigging sittings of the rigger.
- Allocation of proper and adequate resources to complete the rigging activity as per the Method Statement and the rigging plan.
- Ensure that proper and adequate resource allocation. Ascertains that equipment is operable and performing according to standard safety norms. Plans and supports maintenance work schedules.
RequirementsQualification:
Graduate with certification of the Riggers with an Engineering background and a minimum experience of 18+ years.
