Description:CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas company to provide a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer for a position based in Kazakhstan. This is a residential position, contract duration 1 year (renewable). Head Office-based role however travel to site and other locations will be required. Excellent daily rates.
Qualifications:University degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered engineer preferred. Ability to use AutoCAD, Excel, Word and other office PC software programmes. Patience and skills to work closely with engineers and contractors from different cultures, and to develop technical interchange and understanding in both directions. Fluent in written and spoken English.
Experience:Candidates should have at least 10 years hands-on experience in civil / structural design and construction of multi-storey buildings, in both client company and design contractor offices. Experience should include definition, supervision and quality control of work by others, either subordinates or third parties. Previous experience in FSU desirable. Good experience in the full range of civil/structural building activities and in the design and construction of multi-storey buildings. Knowledge or preferably experience of construction in cold climates. Experience in site construction activities.
