ACCOUNTABILITIES

Petroskills Management

• Work with Function Managers to design, customize, and implement Petroskills products for Petroleum use

• Create and maintain users and groups within the Petroskills CAT E system

• Train new users in the tool

• Serve as the global ‘key user’ resource for Petroleum (‘help desk’)

• Liaise with Petroskills technical and support personnel

• Import best practices from other companies as the key contact for the Petroskills consortium

• Create management reports on BHPB skills inventories

• Manage the Petroskills contract, budget, and invoices

• Develop user communications

Workforce Planning

• Manage the workforce planning process within Petroleum, in conjunction with the annual budget/business plan cycle

• Ensure development of planning tools sufficient to meet Petroleum’s planning needs

• Produce an annual workforce plan and lead annual workforce strategy review based on the plan’s results

• Integrate Petroskills competence data to add granularity to workforce plan

• Work with Function Managers, HR Managers and HR Information Systems Coordinator to maintain integrity of GSAP data for workforce planning purposes

• Stay abreast of emerging external workforce issues and integrate into the workforce planning process

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) strongly preferred

• Strong oral communication skills (especially public presentations) essential

• Strong written communication skills (distributed communications and preparation of written reports) essential

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products and experience with internet applications are essential

• Minimum 5 years work experience, with knowledge of the oil and gas industry essential

• Strong customer focus essential

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with many stakeholders

• Systems / process orientation essential

• Experience with managing new product / process implementations a plus

• Ability to work unsupervised essential
