Description:CCL has been requested by a major EPC contractor to provide a self starting experienced Project Controls Manager to support their technical support services. Role requires business acumen, ability to lead / develop a team of engineers. Working will be split between London and Kazakhstan (6/2 rotation). On site the team will initially comprise 3 senior expat engineers supported by local and London offices. Local Kazakh content will increase through training and development facilitation of which is an important aspect of this role. Client will consider permanent or contract basis (1 year renewable). Excellent package / rates.
Qualifications:Ideal candidates will be project controls professionals with degree or relevant qualification / experience. Excellent computer skills must include planning capability with Primavera P3. Must be fluent in written and spoken English as procedure writing is a required skill. An excellent communicator with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a multi-cultural environment and mentor local resources.
Experience:Must have onshore and offshore Oil and Gas experience. Will develop and implement Client processes, systems and tools to manage the contract. This is a call off type contract with wide and varied spectrum of scope. Work will be approved as individual packages of work on a CTR basis. Key requirement will be to schedule and manage delivery of a portfolio of work requests to meet the client expectations via performance monitoring, reports, KPIs, audit and compliance.
