Location: Saudi Arabia MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: B.S.Science/Engineering Discipline as appropriate for the area of expertise for the assigned jobs.
Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in a substantive industrial, technological or laboratory area with at least 3 years in upstream petroleum operations. Good command of oral and written English. Demonstrated active participation in technical seminars and/or original industrial research. Minimum qualification required: Extensive knowledge of all aspects of gas chromatographic analysis, including packed column and capillary, as applied to petroleum analyses. Knowledge and experience of GC-MS, various spectroscopic techniques and advanced scales analyses using instruments such as XRD, XRF and SEM. Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft data processing programs. Minimum years experience: 7 years since graduation with at least 3 years in upstream petroleum operations.
Other requirements: Experience in training is an advantage.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Incumbent will be assigned to NAP Laboratory Unit in Tanajib. Primary function will be: to carry out laboratory analyses and field work on a wide range of samples, including crude oils, produced petroleum, water both formation, industrial and potable, and solids samples; using sophisticated Lab instruments such as ICP, ICPMS, GC, GC-MS, XRD, XRF, SEM, and IR. Writing technical reports, supervision and training of lab technicians and lab methods development in support of NAOO upstream production facilities.
