Piping Designer - Oil and Gas Denver, CO, USA
Nationally recognized, full-service engineering firm in the Oil & Gas industry is currently seeking a Piping Designer for their engineering team.
Qualified candidates will offer a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of engineering working as a piping designer and displayed responsibilities and competencies.
Job Description:
-Candidates must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
-Must be able to draw P&IDs, PFDs, and as-builts.
-Must be able to create piping drawings, piping isometrics, equipment layouts, bills of materials, shop fabrication drawings, etc. by utilizing the P&ID and project specifications.
-Must be able to perform field assignments and work cooperatively with fabrication shop and field personnel.
-Cadworx
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
-5+ years minimum in the field of engineering working as a piping designer
-Any experience with Cadworx is a HUGE PLUS
-Experience working with a multi-disciplined engineering team required.
-Familiarity of the following industry codes is a plus: ASME Pressure Vessel Codes, B31.x Pipe Codes, API, DOT
Ideal candidates should be willing to expand their engineering toolbox and be open to learning more facets of project design, construction and fabrication. If you have experience working as a designer on natural gas pipelines, compressors stations and/or natural gas processing facilities and/or power generation facilities it is a plus.
Required Skills:
5 + years of experience, Experience with Cadworks is a huge plus
