Immediate need in the Garden State for Pelican Forge Pipe Support Engineers in New Jersey. Mid-sized company has multiple open positions for Pipe Support Engineers with Pelican Forge and a minimum of 8-12 years experience in design of petrochemical, industrial or power generation facilities. Requires Intergraph Microstation Pelican Forge CAD in analysis of pipe support, hangers, snubbers, etc to include equipment modeling, mechanical equipment, layout and design. Additionally, hands on 3D / 2D CAD Microstation is required. Mechanical / Piping experience required includes physical layout of pumps, heat exchangers, cooling systems, piping systems and equipment locations. Desire experience as a Lead Design Engineer on large projects overseeing work of other designers and drafters is preferred. Experience must include general computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc. with good verbal and written communication required.
Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your Pelican Forge Pipe Support Engineer experience in design of petrochemical, industrial or power generation facilities.

• Describe your experience with Intergraph Microstation Pelican Forge CAD in analysis of pipe support, hangers, snubbers, etc to include equipment modeling, mechanical equipment, layout and design.

• Describe your hands on SmartPlant and 3D - 2D CAD Microstation experience.

• Describe your Mechanical - Piping experience including, physical layout of pumps, heat exchangers, cooling systems, piping systems and equipment locations. Describe your experience as a Lead Engineer on large projects overseeing work of other designers and drafters.
