Client located in the Northeastern area of Los Angeles, CA has openings for experienced Piping Designers that are very experienced in Piping checking. This position will be responsible for the completion of highly technical and difficult design assignments in the piping group generally associated with either 2D or 3D CAD methods.
To be considered you must have an AA degree, a Certificate of Completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or 8 to 12 years of design experience) and a minimum of 10 years of related experience and strong CAD skills. Candidates must be very experienced in Piping checking and have a good knowledge of oil & gas industry standards and specifications. Smart Plant Review experience is preferred.
Pay range listed is an approximation so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Per diem may be considered for highly qualified candidates.

• How many total years experience do you have working as a Piping Designer? How many years experience do you have working in a Piping checking role? Do you have any Smart Plant Review experience? Explain if yes.
• What experience can you share demonstrating you can be responsible for the completion of highly technical and difficult design assignments in the piping group generally associated with either 2D or 3D CAD methods?
• Detail experience showing you are very experienced in Piping checking and have a good knowledge of oil & gas industry standards and specifications. Do you have any supervisory experience and if so how many years?
• Where do you currently live and why are you interested in a position located in the Northeastern area of Los Angeles, CA?
• What is your current or most recent hourly rate of pay and what is your desired hourly rate of pay for this position? If not local will you require per diem?
