Immediate Need for Drilling Engineer with an industry leading energy company that explores for; develops and produces natural gas, crude oil and natural gas liquids. Ideal candidate will have B.S. Engineering Degree (petroleum preferred) and a minimum of 5 years on and off-shore experience in the Gulf of Mexico. The drilling engineer will provide engineering and technical support for all drilling operations in the region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising drilling operations offshore, land and inland waters in the Louisiana and Texas region. Preparing cost estimates, AFE's and well plans. Conducting optimization / risk analysis reviews, and implementing and supporting drilling software. Your salary will be determined by your experience, knowledge, and what you can offer the company.
