World class provider of gas compression systems has immediate need for a Senior Project Engineer at its suburban Tulsa, OK location. Ideal candidate will have a BSME (OK P.E. license preferred) with 5 - 8 years experience (or in depth training) in gas compression systems design; must have experience in design of structures, ASME vessels, gas and liquid piping systems, instrumentation and control systems related to reciprocating gas compressors; must have experience with design practices related to manufacturing. Desired experience includes field operations (installation of compression equipment), experience in systems as applied to corrosive service, familiarity with welding practices, familiarity with European codes, ability to travel internationally as needed. Position will be responsible for performing design and engineering functions related to compression packaging including sizing of vessels and piping, preparing ASME code calculations, preparing process and auxiliary mechanical flow diagrams, selecting all hardware, insuring cost effectiveness of proposed system, bid preparation and evaluation, creating project bill of materials, specification and evaluation of gas cooling systems and heat exchangers, interfacing with clients and manufacturing.
