A BS degree in Civil Engineering and 10+ years minimum experience in the design of structural engineering (Equipment Foundation, Pipe Support, Frames, structures,. ..) in the oil refining industry (ARCO experience Preferred). Professional Engineering License (P.E. Civil - State of California) preferred. Computer skills required, such as software for structural design and analysis, etc. The ability to effectively communicate with team members and other engineering personnel is essential. Contract / Permanent Position.
The resume should contain employment history with dates and computer skills (preferred in MS Word). Provide in your cover letter:
a)Salary History and Requirement: Give a range for requirement (Don’t write negotiable). For Contract positions give a range for hourly rate requirement.
b)2-3 professional references c)Availability d)Status of Citizenship: Example, US Citizen, Permanent Residence (Green Card), Work Permit, etc.
