Major oil refinery is searching for a RELIABILITY ENGINEER with 1 to 3+ years REFINERY or PETROCHEMICAL experience to work in their northeast IL facility. The successful candidate will perform equipment troubleshooting, conduct RCFA for major equipment failures and assist with outside repairs including scope definition, selection of repair techniques, etc. The candidate will also plan turnaround scope for major equipment to ensure high reliability until the next scheduled turnaround; maintain a multi-year repair schedule; monitor and report KPI's including expenditures, MTBF and Bad Actors for pumps, turbines and compressors. The position requires a BSME, 1 to 3+ years REFINERY or PETROCHEMICAL experience and a working knowledge or RCFA techniques. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional CMRP (preferred). Salary will be based on work history and experience.
