Electrical Engineer - Electrical/Petrochemical/Refinery

A well established Engineering Firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in the Petrochemical/Refinery industry for an immediate need in the Houston, TX area. Local candidates only please.

Responsibilities:

-> Assisting with capital project design and development, working with a team of designers and drafters to complete electrical installation drawing packages for medium and low voltage systems
-> Drawing one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and conduit routing drawings
-> Writing construction scope of work, equipment purchase specifications, and data sheets

Requirements:

-> BS in Engineering or other related field
-> Minimum of 5 years experience as an Electrical Engineer in the Petrochemical/Refinery industry
-> Experience with all aspects of electrical analysis including fault current, load flow, protective device coordination, motor starting, and arc flash analysis using analytical software systems
-> Experience with project front end loading, scope development and estimating
-> Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
-> PE License is a plus, but not required
