Job Description:
* Provide Geological and Geophysical Application and Unix phone support for all of North America.
Houston, New Orleans, Lafayette, MidCon, Bakersfield and Calgary.
- First line of defense for Landmark software and 3rd party application support issues.
- Knowledge of software supported: CHEARS, EARTHVISION, EDGE, EPOS3 (Canvas), GEO PROBE, GEOLOG, H RUSSEL, JASON, LINUX, OpenWorks, PETROSYS (VoxelGeo), PROMAX, SEISWORKS, STRATWORKS, UNIX, Zmap, WOW, Exceed. ArcGIS
- Resolve at least 50% of the issues on the phone, and if we can't, transfer to a level 2 support person.
- Generate a Phoenix tickets and tag it to the appropriate Level 2 support group.
- Work with the user on problem issues in their office if it can be done in a timely fashion.
- Application workflows and trouble shooting problems.
- Unix Resolve password issues and general Unix issues.

Required Skills:
* Domain knowledge of Geology and Geophysics.
* Bachelors degree in Geology or Geophysics or equivalent domain knowledge or experience.
* Basic knowledge of the Unix environment.
* Geological and Geophysical Application Support
Computer Skills
Basic knowledge of the Unix environment.
Unix phone support for all of North America.; Houston, New Orleans, Lafayette, MidCon, Bakersfield and Calgary.
Education Required:Bachelors degree in Geology or Geophysics or equivalent domain knowledge or experience.
