THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Site Project Engineer to serve as a technical interface between the project teams particularly project management, engineering, Third Party inspectors, field staff and contractors. Tasks comprise as well site supervision for major projects as for smaller projects also engineering and design. Contract period is 12 months (renewable). 4/4 rotation. Camp based accommodation provided. Good rates / conditions.
THE PERSON
Should have 5 years minimum experience in stated duties. Minimum 7 years broad experience in all project phases i.e. engineering, procurement, and construction, would have at least 5 years specific involvement in major process facilities, construction and field experience with demonstrated, supervisory skills of onshore facilities. Experience with contractors and vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of onshore facilities. Minimum 3 years Middle East experience.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Mechanical Engineering Degree. Oil & gas operations, including water / gas injection, crude oil & gas processing and gas compression experience. Knowledge of artificial lift technology (gaslift, ESP). In-depth knowledge of international specifications, codes and standards with a knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods and design details. Must be fluent in written and spoken English (German or Arabic is a bonus).
