GEOLOGIST Charleston, WV, USA
EnerVest, Ltd, a large Appalachian Basin producer, is looking for an experienced geologist to help exploit its large Appalachian Basin acreage holdings. The position requires a highly-motivated and team-oriented individual, who also has the ability to work independently. Individual must be willing to relocate to Charleston, WV. Candidate must have experience in both Exploration and Development Geology
Position Type:Permanent, Full Time
Position Level:Experienced
Position Reports To:Vice President of Exploration

Travel Required:40% of the time (approximate)
Experience
- 5-10 years of Petroleum Industry Experience
- Appalachian Basin Experience a plus
Skills
-Experience in 2D and 3D seismic interpretation a must
- Experience with both conventional carbonate and sandstone plays, and un-conventional
Shale plays
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral) and organizational skills
Computer Skills
- Experience with Geographix and Kingdom Suite interpretation software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education Required:- BS degree in Geology; MS degree preferred
Fields of Expertise:- Experienced in both Exploration and Development Geology
