Lubrications Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The selected candidate must have strong practical experience in the selection and condition monitoring of mineral and synthetic based lube oils coupled with lubrication system design, operations and troubleshooting. Must be experienced with the lubrication of pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines, electric motors and generators. Should be capable of diagnosing lubricant and equipment conditions based on laboratory analysis of lubricant samples. Experience in the design and/or maintenance of diesel engines, gear boxes and turbo machinery bearing systems is highly desirable. Selected candidate will supervise the company's lube oil monitoring program, provide application recommendations to field users, and provide expertise in all aspects of lubrication and lubricants.

Principal industries served: Lubrication systems, lubricants, rotating equipment.

SELECTION CRITERIA: Education: BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Experience: Ten (10) years.
