POSITION DESCRIPTION: Successful candidate will be expected to: Provide overall capabilities to prepare detailed estimate for various types of projects including multi-million dollar oil and gas projects. Have ability to develop MTOs and or verify MTO and material, equipment and bulk quantities against P&IDs and drawings. Prepare multi-discipline conceptual, detailed and definitive cost estimates for Saudi Aramco Capital Projects. Prepare or review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with the scope of work. Be able to interface with multiple organizations to review and discuss project scope and estimate basis. Consult on company estimating methods/procedures and, when necessary, provide estimate breakdown. Provide technical capabilities in review of design packages and drawings.
SELECTION CRITERIA: BS Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Process). 10-15 years of estimating experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery projects or facilities. Minimum of 10 years of design, construction and operation of oil and gas, refining and petrochemical facilities. Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in similar industry. Familiar with equipment and material requirements for hydrocarbon facilities, including detailed knowledge of process engineering. Ability to develop and analyze engineering and construction man-hours for oil and gas projects. Familiar with Industry Standards for oil and gas facilities. Familiar with estimating tools (preferably Aspen Tech K-Base or Icarus) Benchmarking, Market Outlook etc. Capable of analyzing and implementing new software.
