Location: Saudi Arabia MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: B.S. Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Experience: Minimum of nine years, preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry, such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as an expert. Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, U.S. and Saudi Aramco's Codes, Standards and Specifications. Excellent communication skills.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute capital projects according to the scope, schedule and budget for Upgrade NA Flares System Unit / NAOO & BGP Projects Division, NAPD. Full responsibility for project development, from preliminary engineering, detail designs to construction and final a full and safe turnover to proponent. Has working knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Specifications to review and provides consultation, technical support related to their interpretation/application of the standards in incumbent's area of expertise. Manage General Engineering Services (GES) design contractor activities of developing project proposal that include defining project work scope and schedule requirement, and development of detailed estimate leading to the ER appropriation and approval. Develop and prepare the contracting plan and strategy for solicitation, evaluation and award contractor for detail engineering, procurement and construction. Manage contractor for preparation of detailed design drawings, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid package. Coordinate activities and resolve issues among proponent, contractors and other parties to allow construction activities progress leading final mechanical completion. Responsible to secure Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC) and Performance Acceptance Certificate for the project.
