FUELING THE Progress for our Future Rex Energy Corporation is an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, production, exploration and development of oil and gas, with properties concentrated in the Appalachian and Illinois regions. Rex Energy has these exciting opportunities available in our Bridgeport, Illinois office.
The position requires assisting geological and engineering staff, inputting geological and engineering data into a computer database, helping to maintain that database, conducting field GPS surveys, and assisting with geologic mapping and report generation. Education/Qualifications: Associates Degree in Engineering or Geology Experience with the oil and gas industry is a plus Requirements/Skills: Familiarity with GIS software and geologic mapping software (Petra, GeoGraphix/Discovery) is a plus
