THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by an international oil and gas super-major company to provide a Cost & Schedule Data Coordinator. Client prefers candidates who are US citizen or residents and live in and around the Houston area. This is a one year contract with possibility of extension. Rates are negotiable. This vacancy is being handled by our Houston office.
THE PERSON
Benchmarking and data analysis experience MANDATORY. Reports to Technology & Data Supervisor / Lead. Responsibilities: Assist in establishing data collection framework / collect project data from Production Affiliates for estimate accuracy studies and feedback to methods / tools and benchmarks; Collect, input, retrieve, compile, verify and manage project data; Analyze data to create meaningful correlations; Perform calculations and basic analysis and present data; provide high degree of understanding of data sources; Implement process improvements where necessary; Compile or tabulate data useful for benchmarks, methods, and project performance studies; Maintain / update any methods / benchmarks developed by Technology / Data Group; Help normalize project data consistent with EMDC process; Publish / maintain methods / benchmarks on EMPC intranet site; Help build or enhance basic data analysis tools (spreadsheets, databases); Coordinate / help produce presentation packages; Assist in developing solutions / applications to support C&S activities including cost & schedule estimating and project controls.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree required. Strong analytical and communication skills, written and oral. Able to communicate to different levels of organization. Expresses thoughts clearly with good listening skills. Effective time management and multi-tasking skills. Consistently meets goals and measurements & motivated. Experience with desktop applications including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat & Internet Explorer. Dependability: Keeps commitments / follows through on assignments; Supports work efforts of others; Identifies problems / takes corrective action or reports problems as appropriate; Good attendance and punctuality; Observes all policies and procedures. Fluent written and spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in the USA.
