THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading oil & gas energy company to provide an Offshore HSE Advisor (Health & Hygiene). Job may require occasional travel to other locations. Offshore-based contract, duration 1 year (renewable). 28/28 rotation. Excellent rates.
THE PERSON
Experience in medical management offshore. 10 years as paramedic and / or offshore medic. 10 years experience both in a safety role and in a safety management role. Oversee HSE Site operations offshore during Installation, Hook-Up and Commissioning (I&HUC) operations and ensure Client Health and Hygiene policies, regulations, instructions, procedures and standards are complied with by company staff and contractors. Assist development and execution of medical services provision during the I&HUC programme. Full understanding of the Health and Hygiene issues related to Offshore operations of the North Caspian.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Relevant Qualification or Technical Diploma. Recognized safety qualification. Medical qualification and professional affiliation. Valid Offshore Certificates. Team worker and self-motivator. Good personal, diplomatic, supervisory, written and presentational skills. Ability to communicate effectively, take on a pro-active role as a key EP HSE team member and work in a Project environment in Company or contractor locations to bring HSE expertise to designated work areas. Ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Fluent written and spoken English.
