Qualifications:
Successful candidate will be an senior engineer with 10-15 years of experience.
Successful candidate will have extensive experience with natural gas and sour gas facility design and construction.
Candidate will be Professional Engineer accredited by APEGGA.
APEGBC and APEGS accreditation also valuable for the position, but not required.
Successful candidate will have superior communication skills.
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will be responsible to ensure a successful project execution of the gas facility projects from scoping stage through to detail design to construction to commissioning.
The Project Manager will be the key contact with all Client representatives, beginning at the scoping stage. Ongoing client liaison and communication throughout the project will be required. The ability to develop a rapport and a strong working relationship with the Client is critical.
The Project Manager will lead the communication with internal EPCM discipline engineering and project support departments to ensure successful project execution. He/she will run regular project specific meetings and be the driver of the overall project.
The Project Manager will be accountable to lead his team of project engineers and will be ultimately responsible for regulatory, project scheduling, execution planning, cost and material control, HSE procedures, engineering design and quality, approval procedures and overall project coordination.
Requirements:
Candidate must have experience with sweet and sour natural gas projects in Western Canada including dehydration, compression and processing facilities.
Project experience with sour gas processing is necessary.
Candidate must have experience and strong working knowledge of AEUB and AENV regulatory requirements for sour gas including Emergency Response Planning, Flaring Restrictions, Dispersion Modeling, Environmental Protection & Enhancement Act, etc
