Administrative Assistant

Under the general guidance of the Team Leader, the Systems Support Administrator is responsible for data entry, travel arrangements, data base management, general office administration responsibilities, and communications for the EKATI Diamond Mine. Emphasis is on providing effective and efficient data management and administrative support for the mine. The incumbent performs all duties for this position in accordance with the Charter, Company policies, Management Systems, Standard Operating Procedures and Agreements.

The successful candidate will be a high school graduate, with successful completion of an administration/clerical program. You must have a minimum of 2 years related experience and proficiency with computers, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. You have the ability to work effectively as a team member and are comfortable working in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. The candidate must also have good organizational and multi tasking skills. Experience using GSAP is an asset

This position is located in the Yellowknife Office. Hours of employment are, Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. Occasional travel to the EKATI mine site is required.
