We are expanding every facet of our Iron Ore business as we develop new ways to deliver competitive advantages to our customers. Our most recent growth project, Rapid Growth Project 5, will take installed capacity at our Western Australian Iron Ore operations to 205mpta by the second half of calendar year 2011.

Position Synopsis

The Maintenance Systems Specialist role is a key position within the Asset Reliability team, accountable for assisting in implementing Asset Management business processes and ensuring the effective and efficient use of the CMMS, and related support systems through creation of training layouts, reporting and user setups.

Key responsibilities include:

* Train and coach Superintendents, Supervisors and practitioners in the Asset Management processes and the use of the CMMS;
* Set up users in the CMMS to allow effective and efficient use of the system;
* Reporting on system performance, BPC’s and asset management KPI’s;
* Assist sites with CMMS master and transactional data cleanup; and
* Support key stakeholders by making decision support information available.

Skills and Experience

Successful candidates will hold a trade qualification and preferably a diploma in Maintenance Engineering Management with practical maintenance experience in heavy industry.

Your significant planning and scheduling maintenance experience within large complex organizations will be complemented by your substantial knowledge of all aspects of the SAP PM module and experience in delivering training for asset management and SAP.

Your ability to influence others, and affect performance as well as your high energy levels, and an action oriented attitude are essential for this role. An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment and sustainable development is also a must.
