Principal Advisor – Manage Maintenance Work

We are expanding every facet of our Iron Ore business as we develop new ways to deliver competitive advantages to our customers. Our most recent growth project, Rapid Growth Project 5, will take installed capacity at our Western Australian Iron Ore operations to 205mpta by the second half of calendar year 2011.

Position Synopsis

We are seeking an achievement - oriented professional, with extensive experience in asset management, to act as a functional expert for WAIO on the subject of Manage Maintenance Work implementing and governing policies, procedures and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

* Develop, improve and govern Manage Maintenance Work policies, procedures, standards and metrics;
* Provide technical support and expertise on Manage Maintenance Work;
* Chair and drive outcomes through the Manage Maintenance Work Steering Committee (MMW);
* Perform audits on the MMW processes on site;
* Collaborate with other asset reliability functional streams and ensure integration; and
* Develop MMW tools and training.

Skills and Experience

Degree qualified in Engineering, you must have extensive MMW experience within a large complex organisation. Your proven portfolio of skills includes MMW, cost control & budgeting processes and maintenance tactics.

You will be a strategic thinker capable of translating complex concepts into practice with practical solutions. Your track record testifies to your extensive experience in delivering outstanding results in the mining, manufacturing or transportation industry. High level SAP PM knowledge is essential.
