THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Senior Hull Construction Engineer. A residential position, will travel as required. Contract duration 1 year (renewable). Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
10 years work experience in Logistics Engineering in Oil & Gas (developing, evaluation and / or improvement of Logistics Management System). Experience in Strategic Supply Chain / Logistics Management at Senior level at major International E&P Operator. Knowledge of Occupational Health, Environmental and / or Quality Management certification processes and of integrated management systems development and implementation projects. Support Head of Logistic Strategy in development / implementation of Corporate Logistics Strategies, Plans and Policies, with a focus on overarching logistics concept of operations [Integrated Logistics Strategic Plan], setting vision for 6 to 10 years ahead. This shall be achieved by leading on a day to day basis information process flow analysis / subsequent re-engineering. Subsequently facilitating implementation of Master Strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Business Management or Engineering. Professional qualifications commensurate with a proven track record. Knowledge of RoK HSE legislation / international oil related standards. Able to bring logic to analysis and problem solving, putting mission and team first. Capacity to simplify complexity, quickly reaching the nub of a problem and formulating solutions whilst balancing theory and pragmatism. Flair for balancing safety, efficiency and effectiveness. Self motivated, able to work independently to meet tight deadlines, take initiative to maintain commercial confidentiality, to meet deadlines and to work in a team environment. Computer literate. Fluent oral and written English is essential.
