THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Contracts Administration Adviser for position based in Tripoli. 6 / 3 rotation. Reporting to Supply Chain Director and responsible for contracts from bidding to award to post award stages. Some travel required. Excellent internationally competitive daily rates.
THE PERSON
Minimum 12 years of contracting experience with significant experience with an international oil company. Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain Management. Will establish effective communication with requisitioners, suppliers and legal dept. to provide clarity of bidding strategies, work scopes, tender development, bid issue, consistent evaluations, timely execution and post award management. Also good understanding of Clients Policies and Procedures relating to Procurement, Code of Business Conduct and authority levels and limitations. Will operate at high ethical standards and communicate priorities effectively. Solid contracting skills to support / supervise Contracts Administration function.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
BS / BA Degree required, advanced degree a plus. Solid communication skills including written and spoken English (Arabic a plus). Team oriented with ability to be effective in a multi-cultural environment. Proven leadership / mentoring skills. Mid / high level computer skills with: Microsoft Suite, Lotus Notes (a plus), Oracle, Discover (or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, i.e. SAP / Business Warehouse).
