Leading independent power generation / energy services company has a newly created position on their Boiler Service Team providing top quality energy efficiency support for multiple sites based in Anchorage, Alaska.
Responsibilities:
-> Operate and maintain steam and hot water boilers, drainage distribution systems, and related equipment
-> Conduct equipment readings critical for operations, efficient performance, maintenance history, and reporting
-> Complete internal and external inspections of boilers, burners, and associated controls
-> Evaluate boiler room systems, gather information and help resolve problems
Requirements:
-> This position requires boiler operations and maintenance experience working in ALASKA
-> Trade or Vocational School education, minimum five (5) years experience in boiler trade as a journeyman required
-> Current Gas / Oil Burner Technician's, Fireman's, or Operating Engineer's License strongly preferred
-> Demonstrated experience installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing boiler, water treatment systems, controls components, and /or utility generation and distribution systems
-> Prior troubleshooting and repair of commercial / industrial boilers and burners. Power flame experience a plus
-> Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing
