SW Global Resourcing would like to speak with experienced Mechanical Supervisors. We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is an owner operater of various vessel types. These support the oil and gas industry on a global basis covering a wide range of operations.
Due to the expansion of ongoing projects. The vacancy has arisen in the UAE for a Mechanical Supervisor who will:
* Oversee the Mechanical Installation work carried out in both onshore and on board the vessels
* Ensure Projects are carried out in a safe manner meeting the specified time schedules
* Give guidance to the welders & Fitters
* Complete installation project within scheduled time
* Ensure installation work is completed to the required standard
* liaise with the Quality Control Dept and Project Management
* Ensure all mechanical installation is carried out to the required standards
* Ensure installation work is carried out safely
* Ensure all procedures and policies are observed carried out
* Monitor level of mechanical outfitting team and completion of time sheets and daily reports to Yard Superintendent
* Monitor level of production and recommend changes as required
* Ensure Fitters and Welders have the correct equipment and PPE required for the job
* Ensure equipment and tools are used correctly and in good condition
* Ensure stocks of consumables are maintained and ordered in good time
Education:
* College qualification in Mechanical Engineering
