DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and supervise as required the replacement, repair, installation and/or testing of major electrical equipment and systems for Vessels and Project requirements.
Provide input as required to the Computerized Maintenance and Materials System (CMMS) so that all necessary areas of electrical, electronic, controls, navigation and related items on the vessels are properly addressed.
Provide assistance in procuring adequate manpower, tools, training and other resources required for proper operation and maintenance of all Electrical Systems.
Provide Technical assistance to Machinery & Maintenance Supervisors, Vessel Captains, Chief Engineers, Chief Electricians, and Electronic Technicians as required for Electrical Systems.
Prepare AFE and ACE documentation as well as budgets for all repairs and procurement of major electrical equipment and systems.
Provide electrical system design, calculations and drawing preparation/review for regulatory body submittals as required for vessels.
Review and analyze all shipyard, subcontractor and vendor quotations and reports for electrical work.
Prepare and/or review purchase specifications, estimates and schedules for repair, replacement and new electrical systems for vessel and project specific requirements.
Provide electrical engineering design support for corporate equipment and maintenance projects.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
BS in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Field.
The Electrical Engineering position is based in our office in Morgan City, LA. This position will travel offshore with projects. There may be times when working on a project when you may have to stay offshore for an extended period of time (there is a bonus if you have to stay offshore longer than 5 days).
The normal working hours of this position are Monday – Friday with work outside of these times if offshore or by level of work.
Has the ability to obtain a TWIC card and Passport.
