Be on the forefront of software testing as part of a great infrastructure testing team. As a software testing engineer you will be part of our Research and Development group and practice your geo-tech domain knowledge to work in a closely coupled R&D environment. Under the direction of the project test lead, you will clarify business requirements, design and execute test cases, and assist in on-going training of new testing engineers. The testing engineer is expected to become a product expert and identify the correctness, completeness, and quality of Landmark Information Management and Infrastructure software. This will require a fair understanding of our customer centered business and the ability to work directly with the product management, development, and customer support teams on a daily basis. This person will have a unique chance to access leading edge software technology used in the Oil & Gas industry and work with industry professionals who have spirit of innovation and a great wealth of advanced technical knowledge.

Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Engineering, or Computer Science with 4+ years experience
• Able to plan, execute, and coordinate testing efforts with local and off-shore teams.
• Proficient in testing software on Linux/UNIX/Windows
• Skilled in testing design or software test execution in the testing environment
• Solid understanding of the software development process
• Familiarity with Test Director - Quality Center, geo-science software
• Self motivated
• Works well within a team – including off-shore
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education Required:Bachelor Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Engineering, or Computer Science
