HVAC Technician - HVAC /Pipefitter/EPA 608

A growing HVAC Company is seeking 4 HVAC Installers for its Long Island City, New York location. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

-> Install, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment in Commercial buildings
-> Establish and maintain effective working relationships
-> Provide technical assistance in diagnosis and report of mechanical systems
-> Installation of HVAC equipment including air handlers, chilling and heating systems, air quality equipment, energy recovery make-up units, chilled water and boilers, packaged split systems, condensers, gas-fired units, and etc
-> Insure installation and repairs are performed in accordance with all federal, state, and local codes
-> Supervise and mentor Jr. HVAC Installers

Requirements:

-> High School Diploma or GED
-> EPA 608 Universal Certification
-> A minimum of 10 years HVAC pipefitting, installation, diagnosis, and repair experience
-> R-410A Certification
-> 10 hour OSHA Certification
-> Commercial Industry experience
-> A valid New York driver's license
-> Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills
-> Supervisory experience is preferred
