THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil and gas company to provide a Project Manager - Offshore Pipelay Project. Rotation 90/30. Salary negotiable with excellent T&Cs. This vacancy is being handled by our Houston office.
THE PERSON
10 years managing large EPC oil and offshore pipeline projects. Completion of at least one EPC project valued over USD50MM. Proven successful track record with international project risk management and driving the management of change process. Extensive experience communicating contractual matters with clients. Manage multinational skilled workforce in marine oil & gas sectors, including supervision of: Lay barge pipeline, piping construction, fabrication, welding, divers, concrete coating of line pipe, installation of LNG / Oil / Gas Piping / Pipelines above, below ground, buried / submersed, swamp pipelines, flow-lines, river & road crossings, shore approaches, cofferdams & Thrust Boring Techniques, HDD, Heavy Plant Supervision and Live Plant Tie-ins, NDT, Ultrasonics, MPI, Dye Penetrant, Radiography, Hydro / Pneumatic Testing. Previous working experience in West Africa is highly desirable. Extensive international experience is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering and professional certification preferred (PE, CPM). Current knowledge of regulatory requirements, concepts, techniques and best practices for petroleum product pipeline project management including lowering-in, shore-pipeline pulls, tie-ins, bending, coat & wrap, etc. Skills and knowledge to implement safety programs, modify and change employee behaviors to proactively resolve accidents and ensure improvement. Fluent written and spoken English.
