Chevron's Atlantic Canada interests include positions in non-operated joint ventures (NOJV) at Hibernia, Terra Nova and Hebron, and a significant exploration position offshore Newfoundland and Labrador.
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a document control system for our projects in Atlantic Canada. This is a new role within our technical team and the incumbent will be required to work closely with other internal groups to adopt best practices which ensure proper and accurate tracking and expediting of all documents sent or received.
Preferred applicants will have the following skills and experience:
a minimum of 5 years related experience in Document Control, preferably working on Atlantic Canada offshore major capital projects.
experience in a lead Document Control position would be an asset as you would be required to work independently an understanding of document control systems and practices for a technical environment a methodical and well organized approach to the work environment strong interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to interface with colleagues at all levels experience working in a team environment an ability to deal with short time frames and handle multiple competing priorities
The successful candidate in this role must also have the skills required to build relationships and work within a multi-cultural team environment.
