Drilling Engineer needed for a full-time employee position in Lafayette, LA. The ideal match for this position will have approximately ten to twenty years of Gulf of Mexico deepwater experience in drilling, completion, and workover operations. Qualifications include a minimum of ten years of Gulf of Mexico experience, strong working knowledge of drilling, completions, and workover operations; experience working for a major or independent operator, and a bachelor's degree in engineering. Responsibilities include well design, well planning, preparing and executing completion, testing, and workover programs, and identifying new drilling locations, new zones, overlooked zones, and secondary and tertiary projects.
