THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a multinational group of companies providing specialist services to the oil and gas industries to recruit a Process Engineer to be based in Houston. The Group is an equal opportunity employer and offers excellent benefits. Position may require overseas travel and / or offshore assignment. Salary commensurate with education and experience. This vacancy is being handled by our Houston office.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as a Process Engineer in the oil and gas industry. Minimum 3 years as a lead engineer preferred. Extensive knowledge of topsides production processes such as crude separation, gas treatment and compression, produced water treatment and water flood systems. Extensive knowledge of project (process) execution (preferably of short track projects). Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead the process engineering effort on major capital investment projects. Responsible for all aspects of the process scope including quality, man-hour budget and schedule. Work with and coach Process Engineers new to the process engineering field. Work with a small, highly skilled team, executing proposal work in order to win future orders for the group. Operate as a process technology consultant to the Process Group Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelors Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering. Masters Degree preferred. Responsible for manpower and schedules in previous positions. Software Experience: HYSYS or equivalent process simulator experience; Intermediate MS Office. Preferred: FlareSim; FlareNet; PipeNet; FlowMaster. Excellent technical knowledge. Must have excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in the USA.
