THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Mechanical Completion Engineer for a position based in Norway. Occasional travel to other project locations and Kazakhstan. Contract duration one year (renewable). Position is residential 5/2. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
Minimum of 10 years related experience in an offshore oil and gas project environment. At least 5 years in a similar position on Mechanical Completion Engineering and Coordination for Major Oil&Gas Projects. Experience of large International multidiscipline projects. Caspian Project knowledge and experience. Commissioning experience. The job holder will be working in HUC Contractor Engineering Centre. Supervise / monitor work performed by Contractor Mechanical Completion Group for key Deliverables, e.g. Hydro-testing job cards / ensuring correct application of joint integrity management to Pipe systems. Ensure relevant job cards are aligned to pertinent systems or subsystem activities, leading to the successful handover of Hook-up to Commissioning.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in appropriate discipline. Ability to identify problems and propose solutions; Good communication skills, verbal, written and presentational; Conversant with standard computer software packages; Ability to work unsupervised; Team Player. Fluent in written and spoken English. Norwegian / Russian / Kazakh would be an advantage.
