THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide Senior Field Superintendents (Export Pipeline) to be responsible for coordination and supervision of site construction activities. Single status residential positions based in Kazakhstan. Contract duration 1 year (renewable). First class accommodation and local transport provided. Rotation 4/4. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
10 years mechanical engineering / pipeline experience incorporating design and operations in complex onshore / oil & gas project. Experience in operation of hydrocarbon facilities with stringent requirements in terms of HSE. Experience of working internationally (FSU and / or Caspian area preferred). Experience of managing and interfacing with major contractors (EPC). Must demonstrate a personal commitment to HSE by following Kazakhstan Statutory HSE Regulations, Client Corporate HSE Policy, and applying Client Safety Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
HND, Diploma or other equivalent qualifications in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred). Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills. Computer literate. Patience and skills to work closely with engineers and contractors from different cultures and develop technical interchange and understanding in both directions. Fluent in written and spoken English as working language is English. Knowledge of Russian and / or Kazakh language is highly desirable.
