THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by an international leading oil and gas company to provide an experienced Power Generation Package Manager. Medical insurance, very good accommodation allowance and an excellent daily rate paid free of Egyptian taxes.
THE PERSON
At least 15 years experience of project controls discipline for major upstream offshore and onshore projects. Previous experience of: Project management; Engineering management; Mechanical and electrical engineering design; Power plant design and fabrication, including system controls and testing; Commissioning or operation of power plants; Working in JV environments and within multi-disciplined and multi-national teams. Deliver Gas Turbine Generator Package within project successfully by delivering package on or ahead of the agreed schedule and at or below the approved budget without harm to people or to the environment.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will be well educated to first degree level or equivalent professional qualification. Good communication and presentation skills; Networking and relationship building; Demonstrating cultural awareness; Decision making / finding solutions; Contract drafting and formulation; Patience; Self motivation; Persistence; Tact and diplomacy; Ability to take a balanced view in resolving issues. Should be a good team player with a pro-active and flexible attitude, and able to work in a challenging overseas environment, with minimal supervision and have fluent written and spoken English.
