Leading chemical cleaning engineering company seeks a skilled Business Development and Sales Professional in their Baton Rouge, LA office. Refinery engineering and sales experience is a must. Relocation is available for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional offering competitive base + commission + auto allowance + incredible benefits package.
Responsibilities:
-> Handle all refinery accounts in Louisiana
-> Manage every employee and every aspect of the Baton Rouge office including all pricing / proposals and supervision of the Ops Managers and their cleaning plans (drawings / procedures)
-> Introduce and support product lines through discussions with individuals at our customer facilities i.e. maintenance technicians, unit operators, process engineers, unit superintendents, or refinery top management
-> Define marketing strategy, initiate sales activity, provide engineering consultation, and make customer presentations
Requirements:
-> Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering ( ChE degree )
-> Experience performing work as a refinery employee (process engineer, etc) for at least 5 years
-> Petroleum refining industry experience
-> At least 3 years experience in consultative sales
-> An interest in helping others and able to work well as a team member
-> Enjoy developing relationships and meeting new people, and equally comfortable in the refinery or in a conference room giving group presentations
