Our client, a global EPC within the Oil and Gas industry is looking for a Principal Architect. You will be required to design various buildings (modules) for an offshore platform located in an arctic climate. Preparation of design and construction documents including drawings, specifications, schedules and other technical documents. Responsibilities will also include code review, interdiscipline checking, coordinating with project team including other disciplines, client representatives and consultants.
Minimum of a BS in Architecture or Architectural Engineering or similar and minimum 10 to 15 years experience. Registration as an Architect preferred but not required. Offshore architectural experience required and experience with extreme cold weather environment design preferred. Experience with CAD software, preferably AutoCad, is desireable. Experience should also include specification writing as well as preparation of similar technical documents.
