SUBSEA ENGINEER - IMMEDIATE START Australia (for residents)
4 month contract
Require current TBOSIET / HUET
Offshore Construction / Installation / Intervention Exp Essential!
Hays Oil & Gas currently has an immediate contract start available for an experienced subsea engineer with recent relevant offshore installation, construction, intervention and / or abandonment experience. Based from Perth, you will be involved both in the office during the early phases of the project and then offshore, managing the execution phase. Ideally, you will be degree qualified, although those with a trades qualification and at least five years' relevant experience are also encouraged to apply. You must have a valid HUET / TOBOSIET and be available to undertake a medical within the next 10 working days.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for all onshore and offshore activities related to the project including but not limited to:
• Developing and writing equipment specifications
• Attending and running meetings with clients, vendors and subcontractors
• Ensuring that the scope of works and project deliverables are met
• Ensuring compliance with HSE and all relevant codes and standards
This role is for an IMMEDIATE start, therefore you MUST be available to interview and medical within a week to ten days. You MUST also have full working rights for Australia.
