HSE Specialist needed for a full-time opportunity with an oil and gas company in Houston. The ideal match for this position will have a degree in safety or a related field and a minimum of five years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. Responsibilities include writing and updating safety and health policies to ensure regulatory compliance, providing safety and health training to offshore personnel, conducting root cause analysis of significant safety events, and planning and coordinating annual internal, compliance, health and ISO audits. Additional duties include orchestrating the annual Risk Register and monitoring risk reduction actions. All applicants must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
