THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by an international oil and gas super-major company to provide Senior Project Management Support. Client prefers candidates who are US citizen or residents and live in and around the Houston area. This is a one year contract with possibility of extension. Rates are negotiable. Role will be based in Houston but will split time in Calgary. This vacancy is being handled by our Houston office.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years in general project management; pipeline project knowledge is preferred. Primary task is coordinating monthly visit process with State of Alaska employees and contractors as part of the license requirement, therefore must have previous interface with Government / State officials. Given the importance of this external interface, Client requires an all round candidate with Project Management / Advisory experience - senior level in this role. Coordinate / attend / document monthly visits by monitors (technical and commercial). Set up meetings. Attend all interviews (1 week per month, split between Calgary and Houston, for Technical Consultants; 1 day meetings with Commercial Consultant). Document issues discussed; help facilitate follow-up. Support development of EMCAPS deliverables for Open Season and OS Plan requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree required. Knowledge of EMCAPS preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative and self- starter, strong coordination abilities. Excellent written / verbal communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in the USA and Canada.
