THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide an ICT Project Management Senior Advisor. Basically office based, but will be available for on-call duties, emergency calls on demand and travel worldwide. Contract duration one year (renewable). Position is residential 5/2. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
Minimum of 10 years work experience least 3 years of experience in provision of solutions through project management (preferably for the Oil & Gas industries in a geographical distributed environment). Manage project team members. Help Head of Project Management to grow national staff within a team composed mainly of Project Managers and Technical Advisors. Steering remote site section heads and team leaders on new projects planning, implementation, testing, validation, acceptance and final (oil-out).
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Graduate in Computer Information Systems or related fields preferable; Degree in Engineering or Business related subjects also suitable. Use of a formal project methodology and PMI certification a big plus. Manage project with good organization skills. Capability of dealing directly with IT providers and other services providers in the field and in Europe. Planning capabilities including creation of detailed documentation in case of large projects. Good aptitude to review existing contracts with Services providers and analyse, discuss and reach new cost effective agreements in order to minimize the costs while obtaining acceptable performances. Fluent in written and spoken English.
