Position Description: This engineering specialist will be involved in developing the APM (Asset Performance Management) initiative covering the area of reliability engineering and electrical equipment. He will be responsible for operating plants focus integrity assessment covering all Saudi Aramco facilities to insure the integrity of the equipment and management systems. Primary duties include review and update of engineering standards, developing new or improving existing work processes, developing KPIs, competency, roles and responsibilities for the reliability and electrical discipline work process. Also he will be involved in monitoring the integrity performance of the operating plants and provide consultancy support on integrity management system to improve their performance. Development and deployment of new technologies and tools that will help improving the pant integrity and provide continuous training and awareness.
Minimum Requirement: MS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years experience in the reliability of electrical system, preferred in oil, gas or petrochemical field that includes monitoring, control with greater emphasis on protection; preparation of materials specifications and engineering standards; technical review of project design and specifications; substation automation solutions and technologies; field investigations during blackouts and contingencies, and technical support to operating facilities for issues related to protection and automation. Good background and experience on the reliability field, reliability analysis, reliability improvement. Experience with the asset performance management implementation, monitoring and improvement. Comments: Inspection Department (ID) is charged with the corporate responsibility for Inspection of materials and equipments purchased, and equipments and facilities constructed for Saudi Aramco. The incumbent will be assigned to ID's Operations Inspection Division (OID), which ensures the integrity and effectiveness of operating plants and facilities through continuous monitoring and consultations.
