Mechanical Field Supervisor

Position Description: This Mechanical incumbent will be required to perform applicable duties of inspection field supervisor and complex mechanical field inspections (Piping & Equipment/Welding).This include, but not limited to planning, scheduling, and providing work direction to 10-30 regular and contractor employees, conducting frequent visits to construction sites and/or maintenance projects to resolve inspection related problems, providing adequate development and training of the junior inspectors through mentorship and proper guidance.

Minimum Requirement: A. B.S. degree in Science or Engineering discipline with 7 years experience in the oil industry or similar process industry, including at least 2 years as Saudi Aramco Senior Inspector Engineering or 5 years of direct inspection experience. OR ITC completion with 15 years experience including at least 12 years direct inspection experience. OR High School graduate with 20 years experience in the oil industry or similar process industry, including at least 15 years direct inspection experience and 5 years with Saudi Aramco. B. Thorough working knowledge and experiences of ASME and API specifications associated with pressure vessels; ASME Section VIII, Division I & II, Section II A, B & C, Section V, and Section IX. C. Certification: API-510 pressure vessel, AWS or CSWIP welding inspection, NACE coating inspection.

Comments: Inspection Department (ID) is charged with the corporate responsibility for Inspection of materials and equipments purchased, and equipments and facilities constructed for Saudi Aramco. The incumbent will be assigned to ID's Projects Inspection Division (PID), which takes care of quality assurance and compliance with globally accepted standards in work through constant monitoring and inspection.
